I saw a mixed animation some months ago (can't find the exact video) and wanted to try to make one so this was my first test animation. I just added some texture by cutting and crumpling the paper and made some motion lines with a sharpie.
After this I wanted to try it on a music video thing and went with MOTFD. At this point I decided to make two prints, one with the normal video and a second with an edited version that I wanted to show through the normal one.
And this was the result
I wasn't satisfied with it so I made another version with 3 variations. First 6 images kaleidoscope, second 6 liquid and last 6 normal.
I tried a lot of new things with this version and MAYBE went a little over board with some of the effects but I like it!
On my search for inspiration I found lou and I could not have ended this post without mentioning them, their work is amazing!
